A summary of my reflections and contributions from my time on the project. This includes the projects, partnerships, and engagement work I’ve been involved with, and the ways we’ve worked together to support communities, artists, and co-production approaches.

I’ve really valued working alongside all members of the community and learning from the expertise, guidance, and support communities and those that truly care about communities offer.

Key achievements include:

Delivered and supported four co-design workshops, supporting collaborative approaches to engagement.

Facilitated partnership working across multiple stakeholders, strengthening co-designed outcomes.

Developed and embedded co-production methods, ensuring engagement was relational, place-based, and co-creative, often in ways that are invisible but vital to the health and success of the project.

Mentored three artists, supporting them through workshops, exhibitions, and residencies; one took her first workshop with us and went on to develop her own exhibition, with all three continuing to collaborate and develop their residencies.

Delivered, facilitated, and supported workshops for schools and early years, integrating the Creative Habits of Mind and the modern Welsh curriculum, giving children a voice in co-designed projects and ensuring they contributed directly to outputs such as the Stepping Stones flood alleviation document.

Applied over a decade of international experience in rural and small-language contexts, including residencies and co-creative projects focused on farming, climate, and cultural engagement.

Engaged with hundreds of community members through visits, events, and school programs, building trust and meaningful relationships.

Created an engagement tracker to monitor numbers, collaborations, and legacy impact.

Worked with local hubs, schools, and communities, embedding co-production approaches and respecting local methods.

Co-created events such as the community climate conversation with local farmers and residents, supported by the Welsh Government and used as research for wider policy work.

Restored international links, to bring an international context to the project.

Supported over 12 co-developed events that combined conservation and art initiatives.

Built relationships with activist groups and online networks, reaching over 1,000 members.

Brought partners and stakeholders back into engagement, including representatives from the Biosphere, Talybont Coed, Moelglommen Farm, and local councils.

Supported community-led initiatives and events such as the Star of the Sea event, part of the Celf project, which contributed to Llif through a model of engagement that has since been replicated and carried forward into Newid Llanw. Over 80 people attended, with local people donating cakes, demonstrating community ownership and lasting legacy.

I am thankful for the advice, guidance, humour, and collaboration shared over the past year.
