On the story bus I was handed this picture of someone’s Grandad who helped build the community centre.
Many people in the area want to see money brought in to support the community centre and a lot of the stories we had were around that.
This was a part of the Residency that I was on for the Story Studios held by Severn Wye Energy. I was on residency with four areas of Wales working with everyone from farmers, Metal detectorists, archivists and gardeners and developed curated story spaces that opened up conversation about past, present and future to work together on solutions. The work was collaborative and based in rurality.
This story studio was in the area of Cemmaes where we had a story bus which went along collecting stories and artifacts.
